12 Days Of Blogmas || Day 3- My Festive Nail Polish Collection ||

| On
Tuesday, December 16, 2014

Hey guys,

Here is a few of my fave polishes for Christmas time. I included a mix of glitters, shimmers and plain colours.

1. Barry M Pink silver glitter: What i love about this nail polish is that it can be worn on its own. I you apply a few coats its super opaque and super sparkly

2. Misa midnight red: This shade is like a raspberry red with a slight golden shimmer running through it. Its a really flattering colour and the extra gold sparkle makes it perfect for the festive season.

3. Christian Dior: I'm really sorry but i couldn't find the name of the shade but its basically a plum with a really subtle hint of gold shimmer which is only visible after you have applied it to your nails. I really love wearing this in he evenings paired with a dark plum lip colour.

4. E.L.F Rosy raisin: This is a pretty raspberry colour. I don,t own anything like it which makes it special for me, but generally its really girly and would be gorge for a Christmas party.

5. Barielle kiss 'n' tell: whenever i wear this polish, i was think of the grinch, Which is definitely a good thing! I think no Christmas is complete without watching the movie grinch and this nail colour is my little fan girl moment for a great Christmas film.

I hope you liked this post, Whats your fave nail polishes for Christmas time?

12 Days Of Blogmas || Day 1- My Fave Winter Lip Products ||

| On
Sunday, December 14, 2014

Hey guys,
For my blogmas Day 1 I thought i would share with you a few of my favourite lip products for the Christmas/festive season.

My fave shade of red for the cold months is this really lovely deep cherry red. Its super flattering and definitely very festive.
This one is from makeup revolution and is in the shade 'Reckless'

I find my lips become extremely dry and chapped throughout winter and i lie to keep them well hydrated with a good lip balm. Some of my favorite's are the Nivea lip butters. They have quite a decent array of scents but the caramel cream one has been a firm fave of mine for a long time now.

Dark plum lip shades are quite a big deal for winter time and i like to wear mine with a simple eye look.I think dark lips can be pulled off in the day time as well as evening in the winter, so long as you wear it right.

Lip scrubs for me, are also very important throughout this time of year as they help to remove any dead skin cells and increase circulation. I love this one from ELF cosmetic as its in a convenient little lipstick case and is definitely less messy. I also love the ones from lush as they smell incredible.

November Favorites

| On
Monday, December 08, 2014
Really sorry my November faves are a little late, but better late than never, right?!
So again, This month I have been so busy with school that alot of my decisions were made on products/item that were convenient as well as calming and relaxing. So here they are;

I think that anyone ad everyone can say that this has to be the cutest colour combo of all  tangle teezers.! I know that these brushes have been raved about a million times over, but  really just couldn't resist to add a little rave myself. I've wanted one of these for a bazillion years but could never really bring myself to spend that much money on a hairbrush. However, after a little wonder around boots a month or so ago, I came across this little beauty and couldn't part ways with it. I have to admit, It has made a dramatic difference to my morning routine. It runs through my incredibly knotty hair easier the i thought possible. I don't think  Will ever use any other hair brush for as long as i live.

So, Its miserably  cold outside and definitely the time of year when you need to put on the central heating. As much as i love being all cosy and warm in the winter, the central heating is a killer for my hair and leaves it dry. I have this hair mask for a while now and almost forgot that i even had it. I did however use it on multiple occasions throughout the past month and i can honestly say, it has improved my hair so much and left it super soft and shiny. The only issue i find with this product s that it doesn't smell the most fantastic. But nonetheless, I have enjoyed it whilst taking an hour or two away from my studies to relax in a bath tub of bubbles with this mask in my hair.

As well as my hair becoming dry throughout the colder months, I've noticed my skins also tends to be at its worst. I often have incredibly dry skin, as well as the occasional break-out. (*Gasp)
I have definitely needed a much more intense moisturiser to keep my skin looking healthy. I picked up this one recently during a sale in superdrug for really cheap and though I'd give it a go. I'm so happy with its performance. I love that its a really thick ad intense formula, but doesn't feel like too much. Its Nice and light and has a pleasant scent.

As mentioned above, I have been major busy with college work and loved products with "convenience". This for me is definitely one of them. I use use this palette for my blush, contour and highlighter. What i love most about this palette is that's every shade is so wearable and buildable. I can use this palette for an everyday look and then use it again the evening for a more intense look. It have a great range of colours that go great with a lot of my lip colours. To be honest there is nothing really i can say against this product and definitely recommend it to anyone, even just to try out.

So that's it for my November faves. Short but sweet. I hope you liked it, I'd love to know hat you guys have been loving this month. if you guys have tried any of these products, if so how did you find them?

October Favorites

| On
Sunday, November 02, 2014
Hey guys, So this month i haven't really got that many favorites. However, the ones that i do have i have been literally obsessed with recently.

First of all is the Tanya Burr nail polish in Peaches and cream. This is definitely my fave colours from her collection, and when i first bought it, I wore it pretty much everyday for ages. I then went off wearing for a while (I probably overdid it) but recently ive fallen back in love with it.

Next is this hair mask from Sanctuary. I love all of Sanctuary's hair masks, particularly the detox hair exfoliator which is great for product build up. The rescue mud mask is a new try for me and i have to say, its my new favorite. My hair was really lacking in moisture and needed an instant pick me up, This mask pretty much did that within a coupe of minutes.

My next favorite is a little different for me, but i have been using it soo much, it seemed silly not to include it in my October favorites.
I have had Pinterest for quite a while now, but never really got into it. But i seem to be using it more and more lately mostly for references and ideas for my college work.

Okay so thats it for this months favorites. Like i said there really isn't alot but i didn't want to put any old thing down for the sake of it. I hope you enjoyed it anyway.

I'd love to know if you have tried any of these things and also what your favorites this month have been.

REVEIW: Makeup Revolution

| On
Wednesday, October 29, 2014

I ventured out to my local superdrug today to pick up a few essentials, while i was there i had a snoop around the makeup isles to see if there was anything interesting a new to try.
Its been quite a while since I've gone into superdrug so i was interested to see what was there.
I came across this new brand and was pleasantly surprised by the quality the their products.

Despite the low price tag, the pigmentation of the eye-shadows and lipsticks is great! There's such a huge variety of colours across all the products. I especially love the choices of lipstick shades, particularly the darker shades for Autumn/winter.

(LEFT TO RIGHT) Rebel with cause, Reckless, Lady, Enchant, Bliss, The one

The lipsticks go on really smoothly and don't feel drying. They have a lovely buttery texture and seem to have good staying power. I definitely going back to superdrug to pick up the  rest of the collection.

The packaging for the lipsticks are typical for a cheaper high-street brand. I would have liked for hem to be a little more original. Saying that, the plastic used, is nice and sturdy and doesn't seem to be easily broken. Also the cardboard packaging for the palettes is really original, super cool and  quirky.
I love the quotes.

This is definitely going to be a well used blush palette for me. It has a great array of shades from cool corals to pretty pinks. Not forgetting the two fantastic highlighters at the end.

Unfortunately, I didn't check one of the two eyeshadow palettes i bought and when i got home i was faced with  a crushed eyeshadow. Luckily its still usable, but it just goes to show how soft the formula is.

Mocha Love
I also picked up one of there single matte eye shadows as i though it would be a great shade for my eyebrows. The pigmentation again, is really intense and i cant wait to test it out.

I'm so excited to experiment with all these great products and will keep you guys updated with the quality of the products

You can find all of these products and more here or in store at superdrug.

I'd love to know if any of you guys have tried out this brand before, If  you have, let me know what you thought.

New Forest

| On
Friday, October 17, 2014

SO, Finally after a busy few days at college, i have enough time to sit down write a post.
I thought I would share with you guys a few pics of my fave place in the world, The new forest.
I was lucky enough to spend the afternoon there with mom last weekend and take a few pics.
For those of you who do not know about the new forest, Its basically an area in the south of England which is a completely enclosed nature reserve with a few little villages and features hundreds and hundreds of free roaming horses! Its crazy to see the horses casually walking around the car parks and wandering down the high streets, and the people that I've there are so used to it.
I have been there with my family quite a few times now, but my recent trip there was short. Me and my mom had a walk around some of the land, then went into a little town to have lunch.
Here's a few little photos i took:

I would definitely recommend anyone to go there if they have the chance. Its so special and even if your not that into horses, Its still a really magical place.

Have any of you guys been to the new forest, or somewhere similar?
I'd love to hear about your Favorite places too!
